Prolific children's author and comedian David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, the company has said.
A spokesman for the publisher commented: "Following a thorough review, and with the guidance of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish future works by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the move was reached following an investigation into claims about inappropriate behaviour directed at women.
The publisher did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "We do not comment on internal matters."
